Forum on the Future of the ELT Profession in Colombia 2017

Last week saw almost 400 delegates from schools, universities, binational centres, the Ministry of Education and the Secretaria de Educación attend this hugely successful forum in Bogotá. The two days included an impressive line-up of plenary speakers, active group discussions and an expert speaker panel, all focusing on the future of the ELT profession in Colombia. View details of the full programme and all the speakers.

The event was a joint initiative of the British Council, ASOCOPI, Cambridge University Press, Cambridge English Language Assessment, Macmillan Education, Oxford University Press, Pearson, Richmond, Universidad Externado de Colombia, Universidad Pedagogica Nacional and the Universidad Nacional de Colombia.

Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the event such a success. Thank you too to everyone who tweeted about the event with #LetsTalkRichmond and to everyone who visited the Richmond stand and completed their Passport to Innovation in ELT.

Below are a selection of images taken over the two days. You can also watch speakers Carol Lethaby ( ), Mike Thiruman ( ) and Andy Cowle ( greeting teachers at the Richmond stand.
