#VoyaSer: Creating Life Opportunities through Education

#VoyaSer is a social transformation program created by Santillana and Fundación Entreculturas-Fe y Alegría, with the aim of helping girls in vulnerable situations complete their secondary education and providing them with better prospects

To achieve this, it offers comprehensive support, including financial assistance to ensure the girls’ educational continuity, training in digital skills and emotional intelligence, educational materials, and social and pedagogical guidance from Santillana professionals.

Currently, the program’s second edition is being implemented in two Fe y Alegría educational centers in Guatemala and Peru, where indigenous girls from disadvantaged backgrounds are studying.

Through this program, Santillana seeks to address three challenges prevalent in Latin America, which have been further exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic: school dropout, gender inequality, and the digital divide.

The initiative was previously recognized in 2022 at the 14th Week of Social Responsibility and Global Sustainability Awards, where it received the most public support during the voting phase.
