Jeremy Edgar

I’ve been working in ELT for thirty years, first at Goldsmiths College, London University and then here in Mexico. I’ve taught from 1st grade all the way up to post grad in private schools and universities in D.F. Morelos and Veracruz – the Anuahuac, Universidad del Valle de Mexico, Bachillerato Alexander Bain, Oikos, and the Centro Educativo Cocoyoc (both as teacher and coordinator). I have also taught for the SEP in the CBETiS 13 Xalapa, Ver. I’ve worked as an editor for Richmond and for Dayton University Publishing.

I have written or co-written somewhere between 10 and 20 books for Richmond, Macmillan and Dayton, including Richmond’s Kinder Steps and Star Players. I love teaching both hands-on and by proxy (creating materials for the classroom) and I’m currently working freelance mostly writing ELT material.

Outside of ELT I’ve been a gardener, truck driver, bus driver, chef, soldier, mechanic, electronics engineer and a few other things! I like all types of football: Association, Rugby and American; chess; swimming; reading; and motor bikes.
